This Original 1980’s Walt Disney Productions Publicity Department Envelope Contains Three Disney Fan Cards for Walt Disney’s Cinderella Bambi and the Disney Studio’s 50th Anniversary Celebration!
Walt Disney Fan Cards were printed by the Disney Studios on heavy card stock to be sent to people who wrote a FAN letter to the studio or they were given out to those who attended a Disney promotional event. Disney began producing these darling prints in the 1930’s.
This 1973 Walt Disney Studios 1923 - 1973 Publicity Fan Card Celebrates Walt Disney Productions 50 HAPPY YEARS OF FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT. It also has printed on the back, WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS 50th ANNIVERSARY “50 HAPPY YEARS”
A Walt Disney Studio Public Relations Fan Card For The 1950 Release Of CINDERELLA Is Also Included In this Envelope. Marc Davis was the animator responsible for Cinderella.
He was one of Walt Disney’s “Nine Old Men”! He began his Disney career in 1935 as an animator on Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs. He became so regarded for his work on female characters that he was called A “Ladies Man”!
The Disney Studio BAMBI Fan Card that was also Included In The Envelope is marked © Walt Disney Productions, one of Walt Disney’s "Nine Old Men”, Frank Thomas was tasked as the primary animator of Bambi in the Burbank Studios 1942 release.
One of the first things that strikes you about Bambi is its incredible naturalistic details of the animals and backgrounds. The curiousity, tenderness, realism and humanity that animator Frank Thomas was able to draw into his character Bambi was exquisitely executed.
