Description
This vintage Stanley Gallon Jug has quite a history extending from 1933 - 1965.This one I think is most likely from the 50s/60s because the earlier Jug also
bear the Landers, Frary & Clark label. The Jug was however manufactured
in Great Barrington, Ma USA and like the early LF&C/ Stanley products, it was
built to last a lifetime and beyond. What makes it "unbreakable" is its blue
porcelain coating on the inside rather than glass. Today this coating is still
flawless. The jug itself is entirely made of metal except for the handle which is
wooden. This sturdy jug stands 14 inches tall and has a 8.5 inch diameter.
It comes with three very large cups, one of which screws down to close the
jug and the other two with fold out handles are nestled under the first. It weighs
in at a solid 8 pounds. Would be good out on a work site or out on a date you
long to impress with your collection of vintage jugs!!
