Vintage Landers, Frary & Clark Universal Large Military Issued Metal Thermos
Exterior of thermos is an original black color indicating it was most likely a military issue
(retail versions were   green). Having been sold from the estate of WWII veteran further
supports this claim.
Though its patent date is 1917, having been made in New Britain, Connecticut puts its
manufacture date between 1933 and 1965.
The exterior and interior are in good condition. It has a solid wooden handle and the
rugged toggle lock downs for the top lid work perfectly to provide a tight leak-proof
rubber seal.
Overall this vintage thermos is in very good condition. It also has a removable
lining that comes out from the bottom.
