VINTAGE HIAWATHA PICNIC JUG COOLER WITH SPIGGOT CERAMIC LINER. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. For sale today is a vintage picnic rug made by Hiawatha. Made in the USA. The Jug is a metallic green with the Hiawatha logo in front over the metal spigot. It has a plastic spin on cap a small plastic handle liner and a stainless steel inner seal which appeared to be in good condition. There are various scratches and paint flaws on the cooler and the bottom is covered with surface rust although I could not see any actual rust through. The cooler functions as it should it will keep ice water cold for a very long time. It does however have a small leak when sitting. If you wish to press it in the service you would probably need to set this thing on a towel so it will absorb small drips that continually come from it. Although the interior picture does not show it, there is a hairline crack traveling upward from the spigot hole. I am not sure of the Vintage of this cooler but I suspect 50s to early 60s based on graphics and general design.
