Description
VINTAGE EXTRA LARGE COVERED WOODEN CHUCK WAGON FOLK ART STYLE 3FTA huge, unique and rare detailed crafted wooden primitive design featuring miniature equipment such as a shovel, curved top trunk, powder horn, barrel, bibles, sugar bag, a true "slice of Americana
This is from Virginia City Nevada and it was purchased for 0 over 15 years ago. The tag is still on it.
This is a true replica of what the pioneers used to come out for the Gold Rush in 1849 in the part of California where I live.
It is actually genuine looking and very very large.
Please see the basketball for comparison.
It is in good condition except for a little wood on the side that you can see in my photos.
I do not know where this goes... it is hanging down with the little piece of rope string you can see.
There’s also a rolling of the front of the canvas covering as you can see in my last photo.
The canvas covering of the wagon is very tight and in very good shape.... it has been strengthened with a type of canvas paint or some thing because it is hard.
A wonderful wonderful piece!
Approximately 3 feet in length overall including yoke, 2 feet tall by 18 inches wide.
I will do local pick up on this, I could drive to Auburn, Nevada city, grass valley, around the area of Colfax California in the gold country.
I will do ground UPS shipping although the further you are away from Northern California the more it will be.
Four-wheeled wood and canvas covered wagon with moving parts including a pivoting front axle and wheels that turn.
An accurate representation/replica of the wagons used during the westward expansion.
Americana as its best.
I do my best to accurately describe every item, but please keep in mind that this piece is vintage.
Signs of light to moderate wear are visible, appropriate with age. Photos were taken in both natural and artificial light in an effort to capture the piece effectively. Please review all images carefully so as to best grasp overall condition.
