Vintage 18" Bisque Porcelain Repro Adelaide Patti Doll in Gorgeous Gown

Description

This doll is from my grandmother's estate. She was a doll maker and a doll collector. The doll has never been used and has been carefully stored for about 20 years.                                                                                        It appears to be a high quality vintage reproduction of a German-made Adelaide Patti doll. She has a lovely painted face with fine detail.  The hair is lightly glazed with a soft bisque finish and styled with a center part and little spit curls around the face.  The rest of the porcelain pieces are also tinted bisque. She has fabulous blue buttoned boots molded on "chubby" style legs and hands with defined thumbs.  She is wearing a gorgeous period gown of gold brocade and satin with accents of brown braid, lace, and ribbon.  The train and the flounce are just the style for this opera star!
The porcelain pieces have no marks or chips and the body is very clean.
