RARE 1955 YALE LOCK SHOP DISNEYLAND GRAND OPENING SOUVENIR KEY & 1955 DISNEYLAND OPENING REPRODUCTION MEDIA PRESS KIT
Very rare Disneyland July 17, 1955 Grand Opening Yale Lock Shop souvenir key for invited Media guests and VIP's.
Enclosed with the key you will receive a photocopy of the original Information Memo For PRESS Guests.
On the second page of the memo a paragraph reads the following:
DISNEYLAND SOUVENIR KEY
Through special arrangements with The Yale and Towne Manufacturing Company, a gold plated Disneyland Souvenir Key has been reserved for you. Your key may be obtained by visiting the Yale Lock Shop, 606 Main Street, Disneyland.
With this auction also comes a reproduction of the 1955 Disneyland Public Relations Dept. Disneyland Opening Media Press Kit w/ photos.
This 1955 Disneyland Opening reproduction press kit was created for Disneyland's 50th Anniversary and was a gift to invited Media Guests.
As you can see the press kit was made to look in rough shape due to the fact that it was lost in US Mail Processing 50 years ago.
