Description

OLD, Antique, Silver plated serving  platter. Mark is a X with a crown, HS and a Dragon? with the number 72 and an upside down 7 (see picture). I was contacted and told that this is a plated mark for the Hartford Sterling Co., Philadelphia PA. 1900/1935.Platter is very ornate and heavy with 4 ornate feet. 15 inches long and 11-1/4" wide.  Has 4 feet on the bottom - making it 1-1/4" tall.The metal is thick and sturdy. There is tarnish and discoloration that might be removed with a little TLC. There are no scratches, dents, gouges or other problems I can find.  A brown felt storage bag is included with this piece.
