GORHAM STERLING SANDWICH PLATE #746 ~ CHANTILLY - DUCHESS ~ NO MONO

Description

This is a Gorham Sterling Silver Large Sandwich Plate in the "Chantilly - Duchess" pattern.  I recently acquired this at a local estate auction.  It is clearly marked Sterling and has the Gorham Company name and symbol as well as the 746 piece type number on the bottom.  It is in good condition with only minor surface marks from use and no monogram or engraving (or removal.)  The pattern is crisp, clear and strong.  It measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter.  If this is your pattern, or if you know someone with this pattern, wouldn't this make a wonderful addition??
