    Description

    LOTS of uses for one of these distressed slat board table risers.  THIS one  is made from NINE slat boards.  They are reinforced on the bottom with a sturdy wooden frame.  These are handmade so NO TWO are going to be exactly alike.  The one you SEE in the pictures is the EXACT one you will receive.  They are not meant to look "perfect".  They are purposefully distressed to make them look old and worn. (just like the authentic ones would look like today)
    This riser is ROCK solid (NOT "rickety" at all).  It's actually a VERY heavy piece for its size.
    Measures 19 1/8" wide at the handles.  The ACTUAL wood part is 16 1/2" square.  It stands approx. 3" tall at the handles.  This piece weighs SIX & a Half POUNDS!
    In order to keep my shipping costs down I will unscrew the screws and take off the iron handles.  All you will have to do when you receive it is simply screw them back in.
    PLEASE NOTE:  Because of the way these side-mounted handles are shaped, if you plan to use this as a serving tray or otherwise carry around a lot of weight on it, I would encourage you to reinforce the screw holes FIRST (either by using longer screws OR with a dab of super glue in the screw holes prior to screwing the handles back in.    I don't use mine for carrying around super heavy items so it's not a problem, but I thought I'd mention that in case it's something YOU plan to do.
