Description:
A nice fine or much better banknote from New Caledonia. This is the Arrete of January 29, 1943 issued on March 29, 1943 Fifty Centimes banknote. The banknote is of simple green design showing a construction site on the front and a deer with antlers with a Loraine Cross between the antlers on the back. the note is in French, has no water mark, and is small in size. This particular note has the serial number 042,645 and shows two signatures on the front. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description.

Condition:
I would grade this banknote as a good fine or much better with all the details being very well preserved. The note is evenly soiled and has general wrinkling. It has both vertical and horizontal creases and general wrinkling. It has no pinholes or pronounced tears. The corners are slightly rounded and have folds and creases. The note has some staining and what looks like foxing. The note has no splits and the edges are intact but show soiling, some wear, and general roughness.
