If you have a vintage Stanley Landers, Frary & Clark Thermos
with the SMALLER opening (1 1/8")
, this one will likely fit!
Corks are a natural material with excellent sealing and insulating properties.
These corks come from the leading producer of high quality corks and
are sustainably harvested from the bark of the cork oak tree
.  There are
natural crevices and inclusions called "lenticels"
in these corks
.

impact their
sealing quality
, which, with these corks is
EXTRA SELECT GRADE
.
This grade has fewer lenticels than the Standard Grades or even the Premium Grade.  They are also slightly lighter in color than either.  We receive them in bulk packaging and ship them to you in a clear plastic resealable bag for convenient storage.
This generic cork
replaces
the original cork that came with the
1940's - 1950's Landers, Frary & Clark "Super Vac" Thermos.
In the images, we are using our own 1qt Stanley Super Vac manufactured by Landers, Frary & Clark in June, 1954. This cork is not an exact duplicate of the original cork supplied.  Ours is "Extra Select Grade" so it fits more securely and should last at least as long as the original.
We have tested this cork for quite some time now using the thermos pictured in this listing
our own Landers, Frary & Clark, Stanley Super Vac Thermos,
with both hot and cold liquid
.
It performed perfectly!
We continue to use this corked thermos to keep our own coffee fresh and hot!
The only physical difference between the corks I sell and the original is mine are shorter. In my test, with examples of both corks, this didn’t seem to make any difference at all.  My Stanley  performed just as expected.
If you have a vintage Stanley
LANDERS, FRARY & CLARK
Thermos with the smaller opening (1 1/8"), this one will likely fit.
If yours has an opening of 1 3/8" I have corks to fit them as well.
