A full service for 12 of Lorraine pattern bone china dinnerware made in England by Minton at Stoke, Staffordshire, circa 1950s. This set includes twelve each of Dinner Plates, Salad/Dessert Plates, Bread Plates, Sauce Bowls, Cups & Saucers, and one Serving Platter.
73 pieces total. Each is marked with the Minton trademark and pattern name, see images. - - - - Along with this lot is a Marlow pattern salt and pepper set and mustard jar also by Minton, see images.
Measurements: Dinner plates – 10 3/4” (27.31cm). Salad/dessert plates - 7 7/8” (20cm). Bread plates – 6 1/4“ (15.88cm). Sauce bowls – 5 1/4” (13.34cm). Saucers – 5 3/4” (13.34cm). Cups – 3 1/2” (8.89cm). The serving platter is 12” X 15 1/4” (30.48cm X 38.74cm). The salt & pepper shakers are 2 7/8” (7.30cm). The mustard jar is 2 3/4” (6.99cm).
Condition: All pieces are in very good condition. No chips, no cracks, no crazing, no repairs.
