Beautiful 14" Armand Marseille BYE-LO Reproduction Doll - lovely Christening gown.
This beautiful little Bye-Lo doll is the prettiest one I've ever seen. She's an Armand Marseille reproduction and is marked A.M. on the back of the neck. She's actually prettier than the original A.M. antique bisque dolls because the porcelain work is very smooth, with lovely delicate coloring.
The cloth doll body is made in the traditional frog style that was classic for the Bye-Lo dolls.  She has porcelain hands.
The doll is a little more than 14 inches long and the gown is 18 inches long from center neck to edge of lace hem.
The Christening Gown is not original for her but it is an especially beautiful doll gown, trimmed with fine quality lace, and fits her perfectly. The doll and her gown are like-new condition. This is a vintage item from an estate but I don't know when she was made precisely.
