Antique Franklin Signet Hot Embossing Machine Gold Leaf Foil Lettering Embosser

Vintage Franklin Signet Embossing Machine is tested and gets hot.  Someone cut the plug off the end of the cord so I had to splice a plug on to test the machine.  Cord coating is very dry so I'm guessing owner cut the plug off to prevent possible fire.  Not sure if you need to replace cord completely or can just reattach new plug.  Just please know the embosser will ship as is with the original cord that does not have a plug.  No other testing was done with this item other than power it up and allow it to get hot on the different settings.  Includes three stamps attached to the machine.
