Amazing Antique Art Nouveau/Art Deco WMF Silverplate Cake Stand with Hand Painted Mushrooms on the Removable Cake Plate.The metal base has a slight bend (see photos) & small scratches from normal use,in the lip but it doesn’t affect the balance-the cake plate sits evenly.The WMF maker’s mark is present on the top center circle of the base.The plate itself is stunning painted with earthy,natural tones.There are gorgeous mushrooms,delicate little pine cones & multi tonal leaves covering the plate.There is crazing present but honestly I really feel that it adds to the warm tones in this piece.Please look at all photos for condition.This is an incredibly rare WMF piece.
