Description
Antique plate with milk glass insert made by Walker & Hall of Sheffield, England c1860-1885.  On the bottom of the piece it shows the earliest form of Walker & Hall maker's mark with no date letter.  Walker & Hall began using date letters on their silverplate pieces c1885.
Specs
The diameter to the outside of the plate is approximately 7 1/2 inches while the milk glass insert is approximately 4 3/8 inches.
Condition
Comes in antique preowned condition.  There is tarnish/patina and scratching on the silverplate consistent with age and use.  The milk glass insert has a few chips around the edge, scratching on the bottom and some dark inclusions noticed inside of the glass.  Please see pictures for full condition details and ask any questions before purchasing.
