Description
This 19th Century Minton, Stoke-on-Trent, England, cobalt dinner service is both extraordinary and rare. The design features a 22-karat acid-etched gold inner and outer border with 22-karat gold encrusted medallions, swags and gold beading. The set includes 12 dinner plates, 12 salad or dessert plates, 2 platters and 2 covered dishes, 30 pieces in total.The medallion patterns are some of the most highly sought after of Minton's patterns. It is extremely rare to be able to find serving pieces.
