This unit did or does not need any rebuilding as it is in perfect shape.This unit is in the best possible condition anyone could ask for  Also this unit is for the older CHEVROLET GMC  trucks from 1970 71 72 73 74 & 75 you can tell by the magnet (where the cables screw on ) is a smooth finish not like newer units which have  a casted magnet with grooves.
This unit has been checked to see any issues and there was none and it is up to factory specs.
This unit WILL work in all cars and trucks with the non resume cruise needed.it is just authentic to 1970 to 75 years mentioned
