    Description

    Up for auction is an amazingly beautiful set of 11 Minton china dinner plates.  Pattern K101.
    The plates have cream colored centers and a cobalt blue rim separated by a band of gold.  The plates are trimmed with gold.  My research indicates that the makers mark dates the dishes between 1912 and 1950.  Impressed on the back of several plates are symbols indicating date of manufacture. Nine of the plates have impressions indicating 1923.  Another plate shows an impression indicating a 1932 date of manufacture.  One other is unclear.
    The plates are in very good condition with no chips, crazing or cracks.  The gold trim and banding shows no signs of wear.
    Dimension:  10 1/4 inches in diameter.  Rim is 1 7/8 inches.
    NOTE:  I will include a 12th plate at no charge that currently has a crack all the way through it (see photo 12).  It may not survive shipping.  It is being included in the hopes that a buyer may be able to repair it.
